Pre Production Vlog Script

To produce a professional standard film there are many documents that need to be made as part of the planning process. These are so that everything runs smoothly on the day.

Part of the planning process is to create a script, this is so that you know what is going to be said in the film, the script won't change once it has been written.

The budget plays a big part in the production process as this lets you know what you are able to afford equipment wise in order to shoot your film. You have to keep in the limit of your bidget so that you don't over spend.

Storyboards are important in the pre-production as this tells you each scene of the film and the different camera shots that you will be using.

Call sheets are sent out to the actors and crew saying the location and the time of the shoot, and what equipment they will need. This also keeps everyones contact details on so that if someone doesn't turn up to the shoot you are able to contacts them. These go out to both the actors and the crew.

Risk assessments are important as they outline the risk factors of what could happen when out on location or in the studio. Health and safety precautions are outlined on the sheet so that everyone on the day is aware of them. Everyone on the set that day will be handed a risk assessment.
